In addition, Canyon High School has been named to the Orange County Register’s, “Orange County's Best Public Schools: High Schools.” Canyon High School was a bronze recipient, moving up 2 spots from last year’s rating. The criteria for selection included meeting all federal testing targets required by No Child Left Behind, scored an 800 or higher on the state's Academic Performance Index, and graduated more than 97 percent of students.

New Schedule FAQs
·
Period 0 starts at 7:30 am.
·
Period 1 starts at 8:30 am.
·
Students need to request period 0 to take it.
·
Students can have a schedule with periods 1-6 without period 0 if
they choose.
·
Every Wednesday is Late Start Day. Zero period will begin at 8:30
am and 1st period will begin at 9:30 am.
·
Students will have adequate instructional minutes if they take
periods 0-5 or 1-6.
