
Spring Sports All-Stars!
Congratulations to Vanguard Softball, Baseball, Track and Field, and Swimming and Diving teams.
Softball wrapped up their season with at least a share of 3rd place in league and will be entering CIF playoffs, for their 13th consecutive year, next week.
Baseball closed out their regular season at 3rd in league and will be entering CIF playoffs next week.
Track and Field will be heading to Moorpark this weekend for CIF: Competitors include: Allyson Cowdell, Brooke Glover, James Richardson, Rebecca Sarmiento,Joshua Siegel, Cambria Smith, Malia Tilton, Joseph Vealsquez, Austin Victer, Sydney Gidabuday, and Brooke Hepner.
Swimming and Diving CIF qualifiers are Amanda Casillas, Matt Casillas and Brooke Hayes.

Dance Team Performance
El Modena's Dance Team performed at a competition Saturday, March 23 and placed well, taking 4th in the hip-hop division, 2nd in the jazz division, 1st in high-kick, as well as taking home a special judges award. The team is working hard and preparing for their next competition in May.Robotics Club Wins Big
El Modena's Robotics Team placed 2nd at the Southern California Regional FRC Robotic Competition held in San Diego this past weekend. The “Clockwork Oranges" is made up of students Madison Anderson, Alice Bowie, Malcolm Bowie, Sam Deshler, Mika Janbahan, Travis McGary, Vivien Ngo, and David Tu. The team is mentored by engineers Mark Bowie, Bill Gaines, and Mark McGary and team mentor, Sara Bowie. Check out their Frisbee shooting robot in action HERE.
