Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2015-16 school year!

I am pleased and honored to serve as your principal at Crescent Elementary School.  I come from a long line of educators in my family at the elementary, secondary and college levels.  I graduated from California State University, Long Beach majoring in Elementary Education and went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from CSU Long Beach. My experience includes elementary teacher, social studies mentor teacher, master teacher, assistant principal and elementary principal. During my experience as an elementary school principal, I had the privilege of working with talented school teams who received various awards such as California Distinguished School and the California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) Honor Roll with recognition for API scores over 900.

The past educational experiences afforded me a professional career opportunity to join the Orange USD leadership team.  As the new principal at Crescent Elementary, it is my goal to continue to build upon the professional learning community you have worked so hard to achieve. I look forward to working with the dedicated Crescent staff and parent community to provide a positive and engaging school climate and culture focused on student achievement, social/emotional well-being, student connectedness and strong character and citizenship in the 21st Century.
