Running Springs Elementary
School is one of thirty
elementary schools in the Orange Unified School
District. The school was
established July of 1999.
Approximately 781 students
were enrolled in grades
kindergarten through six
during the 2002/2003 school year. The school
maintains a single track,
year-round schedule.
Running
Springs is located on the eastern
edge of the Orange Unified
School District in a growing area within
the city of Anaheim.
The school is situated in a newer residential area
off Weir Canyon, and
is across the road from Toyon
Park. The school consists
of thirty classrooms, eight portable classrooms,
a multi-purpose building,
and an administration
building. The administration building
contains offices, the
staff lounge
and workroom, the computer
lab and library. Running
Springs’ school-wide computer
network allows students
to access software, research tools and the Internet from every
computer in the school.
The
Running Springs Elementary
staff believes that every
