The
Comfort Connection Lending Library has books
and videos available to be checked out on many subjects that
impact special needs children and their families. They have
the Autism Society of Orange County's Resource books, videos
and tapes available at the Center's library. The National Organization
of Rare Disorders (NORD) Manual is also available at the center
on CD-ROM! The NORD Manual may contain vital and hard to find
information on: Birth Defects, Chromosomal Disorders, Genetic
Diseases, Inborn Errors of Metabolism, Neurological Diseases,
Hematologic and Oncology Disorders, Immunologic Disorders and
more. Please call the Center at (714) 558-5400 to have a search
done for you or to set up a time to use the NORD Manual CD-ROM
at the Internet Center in the Resource Library. They are located
at the Regional Center of Orange County, 801 Civic Center Drive
West, Santa Ana, California.
