Principal's Message

For 45 years Villa Park High school has been synonymous with excellence.  Taking our place along side of the finest comprehensive high schools in the nation, Villa Park excels academically, athletically, and in our visual and performing arts. We work hard in preserving our long standing tradition of producing successful citizens.  Villa Park students have earned the reputation of being winners which has translated into success at the next level.  Many of our graduates report that they are well prepared for the next stage of their lives.  Our academic achievement is well above district, county and state averages.  We pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of courses that challenge our student body.  Our staff of professionals holds our students to the highest standards.  With many of our top students getting accepted to the finest universities, Villa Park High School prepares its students for what is next.

This year the VPHS community has adopted the SPARTAN Way as a bench mark in how we will conduct our business.  We have dedicated ourselves to being Spirited by demonstrating pride in self, school, and community.  We will be Prepared by being on time and ready to go.   We will Achieve by giving our best effort in all we do.  We will be Respectful of self, staff and peers.  We will prove to be Trustworthy by being reliable and honest.  In today’s world it is imperative that we are Adaptive and are ready to handle change and diversity.  We will also be Noble by acting with high intellect and moral level.  The campus has already seen the impact of our dedication to this way of conducting our business and we are optimistic that as we refine our skills in all of these areas, VPHS will soar to even greater heights.

Our goal is to create an environment where all students feel as if this is their school and take ownership in its programs, facilities and legacy.  We believe students that are engaged in all facets of the educational process are well rounded and better prepared.  The school is located in the city of Villa Park and proudly services students and families from Villa Park, Orange, and portions of Anaheim Hills.  Villa Park serves a predominantly suburban population, with students from a variety of socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and with a wide diversity of educational needs.
